Adam Teel grew up in Hutchinson, Kansas and attended the Buhler Public Schools. He graduated from Washburn University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.  Adam obtained his Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law in 2017. 

During law school, he was a Washburn Law Journal staff writer, a small group student mentor for incoming first-year law students, served as Vice President of the Washburn Law Federal Bar Association, and received a Oil and Gas Law Certificate by studying various aspects of oil and gas, environmental, and energy law.  Adam was named a Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation Scholar and a Energy and Mineral Law Foundation Scholar in 2016.  Adam also spent time during law school interning at the Kansas Corporation Commission and for the Honorable Eric F. Melgren, U. S. District Court for the District of Kansas.

Adam is an Associate with the firm, joining Martindell Swearer Shaffer Ridenour in 2017.  Adam is focusing his practice on general business, estate planning, and energy law.

Adam is an avid supporter of the Kansas Jayhawks and supports both the United States Men’s National Team and Sporting Kansas City.
